We are looking for a Timber Frame Design Engineer to join a small but growing team. For the past 28 years our client has been at the forefront of innovation for modular / volumetric buildings and extensions for both the commercial and residential sector.
They are now looking to grow and develop their design team, the successful candidate will work alongside one of the more experienced Technicians learning the ropes and developing their skills. As the Timber Frame Design Engineer you will be learning for all designs, completing drawings for all new and existing projects, liaise with the individuals on the shop floor to ensure that all drawings have been interrupted correctly, liaise with internal and external members of the manufacturing and production team. You will report directly to the Project manager and will help to build a technically competent team.
What do you need for the role?
:: Experience with AutoCAD
:: Any experience on Revit is Desirable but not essential
:: Knowledge and experience in construction / Timber Frame design is advantageous
:: Keen eye for detail and willingness to work hard
The working environment is very friendly, although the team is small and situated in a beautifully rural location.
