SALARY: £28,000 pro rata per annum, plus up to £5,000 pro rata per annum market allowance

HRG is working with a vibrant, dynamic further education college with over 9,000 students across two campuses, with ambitious growth and development targets.

We are looking for part, and full time Assessors with a specialism in Electrical Installation. Ideal Candidates will enjoy working as part of a busy team, be highly organised and have the ability to use their own initiative to manage their caseloads.

As an Assessor in Electrical Installation you will support the successful attainment, via the application of effective training and assessment practices, of timely outcomes for learners. You will have occupational industry experience in Electrical Installation, good knowledge of Apprenticeship Frameworks and will be qualified to assess in the workplace. You should also be able to support the delivery of underpinning knowledge for these qualifications and be able to run portfolio workshops to help Learners build portfolios.

Successful applicants will be able to participate in the planning and development of NVQ/Apprenticeship programmes at within this field, together with the ability to deliver training and assessment activities within the Curriculum Directorate.

You should hold a Vocational Qualification and an Assessor award; an Internal Quality Assurance Qualification and an Associate Teacher Qualification would be an advantage.
