Reporting to the Resource and Scheduling Manager you will be responsible for the leadership and line management of your direct reports within the Reactive & Maintenance Scheduling function, collaborating closely with the other TL's to achieve unit success.
You will play a key role in the monitoring and development of new & existing R&M planning processes to improve performance and drive continuous change
- Ensure high levels of motivation and engagement of direct reports through effective leadership
- Ensure efficient delivery of 'key' activities, including those of a streetworks, customer and client sensitive nature
- Timely management and reporting of HR, performance, engagement, and career development of direct reports
- Ensure team compliance with all relevant legislation and processes, prevent, and if required investigate risks or breaches accordingly
- Monitoring of system and process compliance/accuracy including streetworks & scheduling activities across corporate systems
- Ongoing team training and upskilling is regular, of a high quality and supports continuous improvement across the unit
- Monitoring and reporting of relevant contract KPI data
- Effective delivery of system and process training to new starters
Key Skills and Experience
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
- Ability to lead, motivate and engage a team of direct reports to deliver quality outcomes
- The ability to gain others' support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions.
- The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- The ability to delegate responsibility and manage own time & workloads effectively
- Good IT skills across the MS Office suite of programmes and ideally SAP, Oracle and EToN systems
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
