The Role - Process Engineer
The successful Process Engineer will be tasked with supporting the General Manager in the day to day running of the company.
The Company
Established for over 70 years and based in Birmingham my client has been extremely successful in building and developing a solid customer base across a number of industries.
Responsibilities
This role comes with a number of duties and responsibilities, you will be tasked with assisting the General Manager in the day to day running of the business. Some of the tasks you will be performing will be to review the company processes looking for continuous improvement, problem solving, dealing with quality issues and providing resolutions. You will also be looking after a team of engineers so previous supervisory or managerial experience is a must.
The Right Person
The successful Process Engineer will have the following attributes and skills
A sound knowledge in a Sheet Metal / Manufacturing environment where you will have been involved with any of the following:- fabrication, folding, pressing.
Experience of working in a production environment with the ability to motivate and continuously improve all areas of production
You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
You will have previous experience of managing or supervising people
Experience of dealing with quality issues
A knowledge of health & safety compliance and risk assessments
