The main role of the Planner is to ensure that site works are reviewed and scheduled in a productive and carefully coordinated way.

You will play a key role in ensuring high levels of service are provided to both internal and external customers and will support the development of new & existing planning processes to improve performance and drive continuous change.

You will have direct responsibility for coordinating site work gangs and have daily contact with customers to ensure quality and customer expectation levels are achieved.

You will also be part of, and work closely with a lively office based team.


Key Information
  • Produce a daily schedule of work that allows field teams to be productive, while meeting contract KPIs & regulatory targets
  • Manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer Service throughout process via proactive and reactive customer communications
  • Work closely and proactively with Kier/client operational and management teams to progress challenging jobs and reduce delays
  • High level of attention to detail and compliance in the use of Kier systems
  • Support Team Leader in the continuous improvement of all planning processes
  • Represent Kier in a professional manner in both appearance and attitude

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Good IT skills across the MS Office suite of programmes and ideally SAP, Oracle and EToN systems
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise conflicting workloads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in seeking information and challenging others for updates
  • Knowledge of NRSWA, Streetworks, TMA administration would be beneficial
  • Professional in working pratices and personal standards
  • Is organised, methodical, detailed and curious to learn
