With over 45 years' experience in the rental of superior quality modular accommodation systems and associated services, to their customers, no matter which their needs are: additional office space, more secure storage, a Health Centre, an extra classroom, etc.
Purpose
Preparation of a cabins prior to the being released for hire.
The Role
You will be reporting to the Site Manager and working within a small team at the depot.
Main Responsibilities
You will : -
- undertake general maintenance tasks to timber, plastic and steel portable accommodation units, portable toilets etc
- clean units and fittings both internally and externally.
- be painting exterior of units with spray equipment, roller or brush.
- reponsible for the fitting and removal of partitions & other fittings.
- carry out some electrical work, some plumbing, some joinery and flooring work.
- load of a range of furniture into the cabins and remove on completion of hire.
- visit third party sites occasionally to double stack units and install staircases and landings. As well as removal of same on completion of hire or to undertake repairs of any nature to portable accommodation units.
- occasionally carry out duties as a fork lift operator (where relevant with training and suitable qualifications).
- work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions.
We are keen to hear from you if you can meet the following criteria: -
- A basic understanding and acceptance of Health & Safety rules.
- Good mix of general maintenance skills.
- Have an NVQ or equivalent qualification.
- CSCS Card holder if possible.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Has a strong work ethic.
- Flexible attitude to working
- Proactive
- Full UK Driving Licence (if relevant).
- Willingness to work outside at times.
- Has proven experience and ability to work effectively with internal and/or external customers.
