The successful Service Engineer will be working for an employer who:
are an acknowledged world market leader in the development and manufacture of advanced special purpose machine tool systems.
provide turnkey solutions for the Aerospace and Land Based Gas Turbine industries; they achieve these solutions through innovative designs for individual or multiple machines up to automated machine tool cells that integrate with modern manufacturing production systems.
have a strong customer base including Rolls Royce and Siemens.
The Candidate
As the successful experienced Service Engineer you should have a comprehensive knowledge of working with 5 axis CNC machines and EDM machines; strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; be experienced with fault finding and working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and be familiar with Heidenhain CNC control systems. You should be self-confident, motivated and have excellent communication and IT skills and be willing to travel extensively in the UK and abroad.
