We are working with a fantastic college who are looking to recruit a Marketing Support Officer! On a temporary 3 - 6 month contract this college is offering an hourly rate of between £13 - £16 per hour plus statutory holiday pay and are looking to interview immediately!
Role responsibilities
In conjunction with the Director of Marketing and Communications, develop, implement, monitor and maintain a marketing and information strategy that will raise the profile of 14-19, Adult and Higher Education learning across the borough and surrounding areas
To assist the Director of Marketing and Communications as required
To support the Marketing and Admissions process
To organise external and internal student enrolment events in conjunction with the Schools and Community Marketing Officer
To arrange for the design, print and distribution of a wide range of publicity and marketing materials, both on and off-line
To support the College's e-Marketing and Promotions Manager in keeping all College social media activity updated
To support the Director of Marketing and Communications on the management and delivery of student awards events
The person & qualifications
GCSEs at A*- C including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant experience.
A degree level qualification and/or or professional marketing qualification would be desirable.
Experience of dealing with people in a customer services environment
Experience of working with information technology (word, excel, outlook, photoshop etc)
Experience of communicating; face to face, by telephone, e-mail and writing
Good design sense and knowledge of print production
At least two years' relevant experience e.g. public relations, events or marketing.
Experience of writing and editing publications, managing projects and writing/implementing communications plans
