The Role:
- Responsible for producing daily schedules and all scheduling administrative tasks
- Monitor reinstatement performance against KPI's
- Manage the closure and completion of all jobs to achieve 100% customer satisfaction & 100% LOS
- Plan efficiently by area and team capability to deliver IMR and IMDS reinstatement operations
- Liaise with field supervisors to ensure that work status information is correct
- Proactively monitor for duplicate work requests to prevent un-necessary field visits.
- Jeopardy reporting to ensure jobs do not get miss
- Provide timely and accurate NRSWA updates to avoid non-compliance
- Relay information to other internal stakeholders
- Highlight areas of process non-compliance from field resources so that training needs may be identified.
- Ensure that adhoc changes in resources are updated in the schedule and handle any jobs that fall into jeopardy as a result
- Maintain constant reviews of work on the scheduling tool
- Identify forward work allocation and shortfalls
- Comply with the Traffic Management Act requirements to avoid FPN's
- Escalate unexpected situations early to assist in managing operational risk
- Request extensions / early starts where required
- Liaise with the highways where necessary Key Accountability 2: Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Manage chases, wanted and unwanted contacts relating to planning and scheduling of work
- Manage jobs in jeopardy
- Take proactive action to minimise the number of complaints, chases, repeat contacts and service failures.
- The role requires an individual who can work in a busy environment with many interfaces to differing parts of the business
- Communicating effectively with customers (internal and external), managing the customer's expectations and fulfilling promises made regarding work completion
- Open and honest in dealings with people
- Does what they say they are going to do. Is consistent in approach.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Good IT and keyboard skills
- Able to show initiative, working on own or as part of a team
