The successful Maintenance Engineer will be working for an employer who:
are an acknowledged world market leader in the development and manufacture of advanced special purpose machine tool systems.
provide turnkey solutions for the Aerospace and Land Based Gas Turbine industries; they achieve these solutions through innovative designs for individual or multiple machines up to automated machine tool cells that integrate with modern manufacturing production systems.
have a strong customer base including Rolls Royce and Siemens.
The Candidate
As the successful Maintenance Engineer you should have previous maintenance experience from within a manufacturing environment. Experience of PC based CNC equipment, drive systems, EDM and / or machine tools would be highly advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate could be from a mechanical or electrical background. Experience of maintenance and alignment of precision machine tools, sub assemblies and ancillary equipment would be ideal + a clear and logical approach to fault finding complex electronic control systems. It is essential you have the ability to communicate and engage at all levels from operator to senior management.
