Kier Utilities are looking to recruit a Reinstatement Manager for the Anglian Water Alliance contracts. This is a new and exciting opportunity that will require the successful candidate to assist in the growth and development of the Reinstatement function and enable the team to successfully meet the challenges that current and future AMP periods present. The role reports to the Regional Reinstatement Manager and is responsible for leading a team of Field Performance Managers & front line resources to carry out all reinstatement activities on the Alliance workstreams.


Role Objective:

  • Leads a team of Reinstatement Field Performance Manager's to deliver a consistent & qualitative service to stakeholders
  • Leads a team of direct and sub contract reinstatement resources to provide a safe, effective and efficient delivery model to meet demand.
  • Drives reinstatement operations to consistently demonstrate behaviours and processes that deliver a leading customer experience
  • Leads reinstatement operations to meet performance against KPI's
  • Aid in the ideation and implementation of Reinstatement strategies.
  • Overall responsibility for reinstatement NRSWA compliance within the area.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of photograph and system compliance for reinstatement activities.
  • Co-ordination of site inspections.
  • Ensure all employees are up to date of any changes to, and the cost implications of non- compliance of, the NRSWA legislation.
  • Represent the department and Alliance members positively in council / client and internal meetings.
  • Assist to manage the sub-contractor process and legacy works

  • Key Accountabilities:

  • Provides a working environment where safety is key consideration above all else
  • Drives quality improvements to ensure NRSWA compliance within KPI's
  • Manage resources to ensure we have right levels to meet demands efficiently
  • Work with Commercial team to understand spend against budget and identify areas to drive cost reduction
  • Monitor and record the 1st time perm ratio to ensure compliance against targets.
  • Leads area with defect escalation, coring disputes with highways
  • Leads area with escalated S81 defective apparatus disputes
  • Manage defects to prevent repeat inspection costs
  • Support the Street Works team with root cause processes
  • Identify and implement training needs for reinstatement team
  • Facilitate post training requirements and audits
  • Participate in industry reinstatement groups for new policies and advice
  • Lead on innovations in this field
  • Engage with suppliers on new / current materials and share best practices for the Alliances
  • Work to smarter end to end process with reinstatement to reduce road occupation
  • Lead on environment and sustainability / recycling

  • Ability to lead on the provision of excellent Customer Service for reinstatement activities
  • Good knowledge of NRSWA, SROH, WRAP legislation and initiatives
  • NRSWA Qualification
  • Full Driving Licence
