Each prison has its own purpose built OFSTED registered education department, boasting with both fully equipped classrooms for academic subjects and custom assembled workshops for vocational courses. All subjects delivered are fully accredited with a view to the learners gaining recognised qualifications.

We are currently looking for a Welding Lecturer on behalf of a prison based in Surrey.

Role responsibilities
*To teach up to level 3
*To support learners on their journey to release and employment

The person & qualifications
*A recognised teaching qualification
*A minimum level 3 Welding qualification
*A current DBS certificate dated within 1 year or registered on the update service

If successful, you will need to go through Prison Security Clearance, this procedure takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks. You will also be required to have a fully enhanced DBS at an upfront cost of £44 should you not already hold a valid certificate.
