Location: Reading
Kier Construction are looking for a SHE Training Coordinator to be based at the Reading Office (with travel to sites as required).
The role sits within the SHE team to support the administration and coordination of all the SHE training activity.
The successful candidate will undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Forecast training requirements for budget and compliance purposes
- Set up, and full administration of training courses
- Accurate input and updating the training database
- Manage the coordination of the SHE Induction as part of an employee's induction to the business
- Produce management information associated with course costs and cancellation costs
- Set up training rooms, ensuring all equipment is available and working
- Identify, design and implement process improvements
- Partner with a range of (senior) stakeholders with consideration to nuances of the BU's, locations, etc.
- Experience of multi-tasking, prioritising, and meeting deadlines whilst dealing with a varied workload demonstrating strong organisation skills.
- This role will require travel across sites, therefore the ability to be proactive and good management of workload is essential.
- We are looking for candidates with strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels of staff.
- The individual will need to have good attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to challenge when necessary.
