We at Protocol are recruiting for a large Further Education college in the Essex area to join their fantastic team in their English department until May 2019 on a full-time basis. You will be delivering both Functional Skills and GCSE English to both 14-16 and 16-19 year old students.
The ideal candidate will be patient, professional and have the ability to think outside of the box. Not only this you will be able to adapt your teaching methods in order to meed the learning needs of different students
Role responsibilities
Delivery of the GCSE English syllabus
Delivering interesting and engaging lessons to a variety of students
Delivery Functional Skills English
The person & qualifications
Previous experience teaching both 14-16 year olds and 16-19 year olds
Previous experience in dealing with challenging behaviour
A degree level qualification
Minimum 3 years' teaching experience
Knowledge of both the Functional Skills and GCSE English
A strong background in FE
A teaching qualification
