This is a great opportunity for a Technical Manager to join an innovative business who are at the beginning of their journey but with some significant financial backing. You can be part of a growing industry and bring your housing knowledge and experience into an exciting part of the housing sector.
As Technical Manager your role will be to:
- Take ownership and develop the standard specifications and the system manual, liaising with the various building control bodies and warranty providers
- Liaise with stakeholders ensuring they have an understanding of the system manual and specifications throughout design and construction phases
- Work with both internal and external Designers at all stages of the design process, and collaborating closely with the internal design team providing your extensive technical knowledge
- Identify appropriate design solutions and manage any risks during the construction phase
- Be a part of client workshops and meetings with the design team
- Provide information and support to ensure accreditation by NHBC, BOPAS and other relevant bodies
We are keen to hear from experienced Technical Managers from the UK housing / housebuilding industry who are:
- Degree qualified in engineering related discipline
- Experienced in developing specifications, building control approvals and ensuring warranty/CML sign-off
- Knowledgeable in CDM 2015 Regulations, UK Building Regulations, NHBC standards and other related warranty schemes
- Possessing working knowledge of AutoDesk suite of design tools (eg Revit, Vault, AutoCAD etc)
- Experienced in offsite construction / MMC etc
