Our client supports NHS Trusts they provide highly qualified clinicians to work in conjunction with the trust, they support the NHS by providing staff to meet with patients. The clinical teams are committed to providing a wide range of clinical services. Our client is currently seeking a Clinic coordination team leader, applicants must have previous experience within the NHS as a clinic coordinator with supervisory experience. The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for assessing staffing requirements for the services they manager and ensuring that a well-coordinated workforce is in place for each of the services provided. The Clinic coordinator will work closely with senior clinical staff to ensure that the services is safe, the staff are confirmed and are inducted of the services provided, in addition ensuring that travel arrangements and accommodation is confirmed.
Key Responsibilities & Objectives:
Requesting and management of staff availability to ensure timely allocation of staff for clinic templates across key specialties
Work closely with Clinical Leads, Lead Nurses to ensure the delivery of safe services in relation to deployment of clinical staff
Confirmation of allocations, including process for travel for clinical staff
Filter and escalate queries from staff as appropriate to internal stakeholders such as the operations director, head of service delivery, appropriate service delivery managers and Head of Governance & Risk
Maintain accurate site documentation and updates as appropriate to ensure staff receive the appropriate information before their deployment
Update schedules of staff assignments to shared drive.
Maintain excellent relationship with clients and business partners
Undertake other duties as instructed and within the reasonable expectations of the job role.
Experience & Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with administrative, clinical and support staff
Excellent time management and record keeping skills and the ability to work unsupervised often to tight deadlines.
Strong evidence of working within a team
Track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of staff
Well-developed negotiation skills
Customer service experience
Experience of booking, scheduling of staff and/or resources preferably in an NHS setting or medical staffing agency
Proficient in Microsoft word and excel
Excellent eye for detail
Fast learner and ability to pick up new processes quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and manner - articulate and polite.
