Factory Manager for a Steel Fabricator required for a South West business. A specialist in construction with sales in excess of £20m and employ over 100 people. In the UK they are one of the largest steelwork fabricators, working in both the private and public sector.
The Role
You will be part of the management team with responsibility for all factory activities manufacturing steel structures and connections (hot rolled structural steel beams ) including the plating/welding shop, steel processing shop (cutting and drilling) and paint shop. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality levels and a safe working environment as well as looking at continuous improvement.
About you
You will have a proven track record of managing a factory of structural steelwork.
You will have the ability to fully understand fabrication drawings.
You will be an exceptional communicator, motivator.
Naturally health and safety conscious as this will be a top priority.
