Introduction:

Kier is looking for an Office Manager to join a highly successful team in delivery of a large scale (£250m+) project at Wellingborough. As part of a forward thinking unit, this project will be delivered in a collaborative environment, adopting DfMA solutions & strong digital agenda.

This project is a key part of the Major Projects business portfolio that spans a variety of sectors including commercial, science, healthcare and custodial.

The role: As Office Manager, you will be the cornerstone of the office, providing support to everyone and the first person the Team will approach for admin support.

With a range of responsibilities, you will need to be a great all-rounder and an expert multitasker.
The role of office manager at Wellingborough will be demanding but immensely satisfying, as the diversity the role offers many challenges which will include, but not be limited too:
  • Supporting the Project Senior Leadership Team
  • Being a focal point for visiting Client Team
  • Arranging travel, meetings and appointments
  • Ensuring a fully functional office environment is maintained for all the Team
  • Monitoring staff engagement
  • Production of reports for the management team Support with arranging staff training.

Keys Skills and Qualifications:
  • Facilities management experience on multiple sites - office moving: setting up and winding down of facilities and services.
  • Experience of construction site environment is preferred.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • First Aid and Fire Safety Awareness.
Additional Requirements:
  • You will be required to complete and achieve Full Security clearance to SC Level.
  • You will be required to Complete a Pre Screen Drug & Alcohol Test and Medical questionnaire / fitness for work medical.
