Our client is a Top 10 UK House Builder who are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team working from Virginia Water where you may be covering projects in Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate cost management, dealing with contractual issues, procurement and payment of sub-contractors for complex large volume development projects from pre-operational stage through to final account settlement.
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor with previous Housebuilding/Residential Main Contractor experience. You must have an excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of value engineering, cost control, budgeting and forecasting.
You'll be a numbers driven person, commercially aware and with strong problem solving skills. With a growing pipeline of talented Apprentices and Graduates in the team, you will lead by example and focus on building a strong team ethic and working relationships both with your team, the regional teams and external partners.
