We are working with a fantastic college in the Surrey area who are looking for a full time Campus Officer & CCTV Operator for an immediate start! Offering an hourly rate of between £10-£13 per hour plus + Holiday pay. You will be working full time, Monday - Friday from- 8:30am-5pm. The college are looking to interview immediately!
Role responsibilities
Performing routine patrols of the College building and grounds
Checking student IDs
Assisting with and promptly reporting incidents
Operational use of our CCTV system
Ensuring that all CCTV work is compliant with the sites Assignments Instructions while also acting as a Fire Warden and First Aider.
The person & qualifications
FE experience within a similar role i.e. campus officer, college security
Significant experience in a customer facing role dealing with challenging situations and conflict
Excellent written and verbal command of the English Language
Proven ability to write concise and coherent reports
A Security/Policing qualification
Experience of CCTV systems
Please note: we would still also consider candidates with experience in a profession involving the direct enforcement of rules regulations, policies or laws e.g. Armed forces, police, but they would need to have recent experience of interacting/working with young people.
