We are currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Construction Manager to cover key sites across two regions (Lincoln / Norwich and Northampton / Colchester areas).

As our new Construction Manager you'll lead on the management of safety, quality, cost and timely delivery of all construction activity by working closely with the Resource Manager, Site Managers, Project Engineers and direct labour resources.

Understanding how IOS Water's success can contribute to overall Anglian objectives, you' will demonstrate excellent leadership and collaboration skills as you steer local construction teams to compliant scheme deliverables whilst remaining within Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction team to produce greater efficiencies and seek opportunities to apply TOTEX methodologies to outperform agreed project budgets.
  • Ensure a customer- driven approach is adopted amongst the construction teams to meet internal and external stakeholders Outcome Delivery Incentive measures.
  • Drive a focus on zero waste and reducing embodied carbon within construction activities.
  • Work closely with the Project Team to mitigate risks and conflicting demands and raise relevant contractual and commercial notices in a timely fashion.
  • Proactively manage short -term and long- term resources (labour, plant and materials) by building and fully equipping motivated teams to meet consistently flexing requirements.
  • Ensure all sites under your responsibility fully comply with Health & Safety legislation and policies with all operatives correctly trained and accredited.

Skills and experience required:
  • Experience of managing operational resources in a construction environment
  • A minimum of a HNC or equivalent qualification
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Accustomed to working in an Alliancing environment,
  • Ability to build trusted and long- lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders
