Our client is M&E contractor that offers Mechanical and Electrical Installation Services and Building Maintenance. They cover a variety of services contracts, including new build and refurbishment projects, they are currently recruiting for an Document Control.

Duties

Ensure all work is carried out within designated KPI's

Organise on site drawings including supply chain drawings and specifications

Meets all deadlines.

Manage the document control system.
Maintenance of accurate records including all drawings and other construction documents Issued through each stage of the project.
Ensure that every drawing or other design document is received by the relevant trades and consultants.

Visits building sites to collect data for drawings i.e. Survey/Measure

Attended Client and Project meetings

Liaise with Contractors, Sub-contractors

Working on multiple projects concurrently, readiness to take on new tasks, follow up project progress and submission

Monitors compliance with building codes throughout the construction process.

Reviews engineering data to ensure compliance with the original design plans.

Programs drawings into manufacturing systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

An experienced Document Controller able to produce detailed telecom drawings schematics

Excellent communication skills.

Must have superior computer skills.

Must have the ability to envision a finished product. Knowledgeable BIW Conject

Must be able to work with very little supervision.

Systems

Main system used is "Conject"

Internal training can be provided on the following systems if needed

(Project Plus, 4 Projects , Dropbox , Yellow Jacket)
