We at Protocol are wanting to hear from experienced Engineering Assessors of both the Mechanical and Electrical principles who hold assessing experience from levels 2 - 4. We are partnered with an established FE college in the Surrey area who are looking for an Assessor to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

This college offer a comprehensive range of core skills, technical and professional qualifications and courses, as well as Apprenticeships ranging from Entry Level up to Degree Level courses including Degree Apprenticeships. Working closely with employers in the local area this college strives to deliver top-class curriculum development and student employment.

The potholder will be required to assess apprentices on Mechanical and Electrical Engineering courses in and around the Surrey area while receiving competitive travel expenses. The ideal candidate will have experience with both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering however there is the option for the post to be separated into the individual principles.

Role responsibilities
Full assessment of the Engineering Apprentices at level 2 - 4
Adhering to college policies including Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding as well as maintain up to date CPD on the aforementioned
Participate with the completion of student portfolios
The person & qualifications
Hold a minimum level 4 qualification within either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Hold a recognised Assessing qualification
Have access to own vehicle (mandatory)
Be able to demonstrate and evidence previous assessing experience up to and inclusive of level 4
