TM Coordinator / Night time Assistant







Location: Ipswich







Kier Local Highways are currently recruiting for a Traffic Management Coordinatortor join the Local Highways Suffolk County Council Maintenance contract

Key Responsibilities:







  • Focus on the customer and the accuracy of information provided for all Area9 closures - information and times.
  • co-ordinate all TM closures for occupancy on area 9, this will be for all closures being installed per night, and will confirm all closures with the originator, RCC and NCC
  • cover Night time TM Manager when requested resolving clashes and TM Problems
  • The position will co-ordinate all TM closures for occupancy on area 9 for all closures being installed per night, and will confirm all closures with the originator. and compile a spread sheet for the RCC and NCC
  • Confirmation with all parties which will be implementing closures
  • Produce spread sheet with confirmation of all closures per night

  • Proven experience with good management skills
  • Time Management
  • Communication Skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • TM Experience
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good working Knowledge of traffic management
  • Knowledge of the Area 9 network and key stakeholders.
  • A good working knowledge of H&S procedures along





  • Key Skills and Qualifications:







  • Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal.
  • Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven record in traffic management 12A/B/C and D and Street works
  • Proven ability to take control of a task and see the task through to completion
  • Able to build strong, working relationships with RCC, NCC, Schemes and operations.
  • A strong team player with the ability to think independently when required.
  • Must have a full, valid driver's licence and be willing to travel around the Area 9 network.
