Protocol are currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a fantastic College in the Colchester area. This position would see the successful candidate working on a Temporary basis up until July 2020 with the potential to become a permanent member of staff. Role responsibilities
To undertake comprehensive teaching and other duties associated with the role of a teacher
Assisting Course Tutor role, including related pastoral, administrative and development e.g. assisting in the development of new courses as part of the team
To monitor standards of students' work against awarding body guidelines and to raise achievement levels.
The person & qualifications
Hold a qualified teacher status (Teaching qualification), undergraduate degree in appropriate subject of equivalent vocational science qualification e.g PGCE, Certificate of Education, Nursing degree, Social degree
Experience of teaching and assessing on a wide range of courses with relevance to health & social care BTEC preferred
Good standard of literacy and numeracy indicated by GCSE grades A-C in English Language and Maths or equivalent
