Title: Surface Dressing Operatives







Location: Norfolk/Suffolk







Business area: Highways - Surface Treatment Business







Introduction:







Kier Local Highways are recruiting for Surface Dressing Operatives to join the Surface Treatment Business contract. This is Fix Term Contract for 20 Weeks.







Kier Highways design roads, bridges and intelligent transport systems (ITS), covering strategic and nationally important roads, as well as local roads serving local communities. Our projects range from major improvements to complete renewals of roads and structures. With specialist teams, we manage complex works from conception through to handover at the end of maintenance periods.







Key responsibilities:







  • Carry out surface treatment work as issued.
  • Ensure all company Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and appropriate protective clothing is worn at all times.
  • Working toward providing a high quality, cost effective service to our clients.
  • Establish good working relationships with supervisors, foreman and other staff.
  • Complete the required paperwork that will be submitted when required.
  • Work flexibly and carry out any suitable duty requested of you.
    • Skills and experience required:



  • Experience in Surface Treatments and Highway Maintenance Industry
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Sector Scheme 12d Qualifications (M1/2) & CSCS card (Desirable)
  • Holder of a CPC card & CAT C driving licence (Desirable)
