Protocol are delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding Awarding Body and End-Point Assessment Organisation who provide professional qualifications, NVQs, SVQs and Apprenticeships across England and Scotland. Our client is seeking a qualified Demolition assessor to undertake some SVQ assessments for candidates at a site near Aberdeen. SVQs are Scottish Vocational Qualification, equivalent to National Vocational Qualification, based on the National Occupational Standard requirements for Demolition Operatives.

The SVQ assessing would consist of up to three one-week site visits, with mileage and hotel paid, and there is potential for further work with the Demolition Operative Apprenticeship Standard. The EPAO also require a Course Developer/Assessment Writer to develop materials for the End-Point Assessment for the Level 2 Demolition Operative Apprenticeship. This would be home-based work including tasks such as writing multiple-choice test questions.

Following from this there will be End-Point Assessor work for Level 2 Demolition Operative assessments. This work will be ad-hoc days in various locations, visiting apprentices to undertake the final assessment of their skills, knowledge and behaviours. For End-Point Assessment work, up-to-date industry experience is essential.

Applicants from any area of the UK will be welcome.
