Protocol are delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding Awarding Body and End-Point Assessment Organisation who provide professional qualifications, NVQs, SVQs and Apprenticeships across England and Scotland. Our client is seeking a qualified Stonemasonry assessor to undertake some SVQ assessments for candidates at a site near Aberdeen. SVQs are Scottish Vocational Qualification, equivalent to National Vocational Qualification, based on the National Occupational Standard requirements for Stonemasons.

The SVQ assessing would consist of up to three one-week site visits, with mileage and hotel paid. Applicants from any area of the UK will be welcome.



Role responsibilities
- Assessing the skills and abilities of Stonemasons completing their SVQ in Stonemasonry
- Ensuring candidates are undertaking tasks in line with National Occupational Standards and Health and Safety requirements


The person & qualifications
- Experience as a Stonemason
- Stonemasonry qualification
- An Assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32/33 or similar)
- Flexibility to travel and work awar from home
