Kier Strategic Highways have an excellent opportunity for a General Operative - Civils to join our Strategic contract.

Kier Highways design roads, bridges and intelligent transport systems (ITS), covering strategic and nationally important roads, as well as local roads serving local communities.

Our projects range from major improvements to complete renewals of roads and structures. With specialist teams, we manage complex works from conception through to handover at the end of maintenance periods.

Your responsibilities:
  • Carry out and complete R&M work as directed.
  • Inform Ganger and colleagues of problems.
  • To ensure all work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation.
  • Ensure work is carried out to specification and defect free.
  • Ensure wastage of materials is kept to a minimum.
  • Represent Kier in a professional manner in both appearance and attitude

  • EUSR Water Hygiene
  • Cat & Genny Trained
  • UK driving licence
  • Network work experience
  • You must be committed, hard-working, reliable and be able to work as part of a team.
