Location: Commutable within /up to an hour of Norwich.

Business area: Utilities - Anglian Water Framework

Introduction:

No day will be the same in this crucial role where most of your time will be spent site based and you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. This role will report to the Operations Manager and will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet delivery programmes. The Supervisor will be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality and performance standards and ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and AW approved standards

Key Responsibilities:
  • General site supervision, including completion of records as required, this includes the day-to-day organising of labour.
  • Monitor performance & quality of supply chain sub-contractors.
  • Organising plant, materials and Labour
  • Liaise with OMC and other AW providers (e.g. telemetry, data enrichment teams) to resource schedule Operational and other AW resources and support
  • Maximise utilisation of labour, plant & resources to ensure efficiency in completing the projects
  • Foster good employee relations, ensuring that Delivery Team members have adequate training and are developed to make their best contribution and ensure effective people management practices are carried out across the area in line with Company procedure (team brief, tool box talks, etc).
  • Assisting with the assembly of documentation for projects - from CDM Construction Phase Plans to basic RAMS.

  • Skills and experience required:

    • Knowledge and Experience in the Water Industry
    • To hold relevant CSCS card and hold a SMSTS Cert or attended the 5-day course.
    • Experience in M&E/construction industry
    • Commercial awareness, be able to work to a budget and programme
    • It is essential to the role that you hold a UK driving licence
