Introduction:

Kier is looking for an Administrator to join a highly successful team in delivery of a large scale (£250m+) project at Wellingborough. As part of a forward thinking unit, this project will be delivered in a collaborative environment, adopting DfMA solutions & strong digital agenda.

This project is a key part of the Major Projects business portfolio that spans a variety of sectors including commercial, science, healthcare and custodial. Key Responsibilities: Administration
  • General administration assisting the Office Manager
  • Organise meetings, prepare meeting rooms, organise refreshments
  • Taking minutes, typing up reports and distributing
  • Ordering of PPE, stationery and consumables for the site. This will be reviewed by Office Manager before submission.
  • Invoice receipting of goods received to site.
  • Updating Project Directories/trackers/databases
  • Preparing New Starter Packs
  • Assisting with Site Inductions - collating paperwork, data entry, record keeping
  • Carry out any other ad hoc administrative duties required by the Office Manager
  • Reception
  • Greeting visitors, assisting with signing in/security access
  • Take incoming telephone calls/messages
  • Communicate with visitors, management and colleagues
  • Dealing with the site post; date stamping, photocopying and distribution
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have previous reception experience and track record in administration
  • Must be computer literate with Microsoft packages
  • Possesses strong customer-service skills at all levels - ability to work in a friendly and confident manner
  • Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Efficient and professional approach with the ability to multi-task within a busy environment
  • Able to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
