Electrical Estimator
£50,000 to £55,000
Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm 1 hour lunch
Location South East London
Our client is seeking someone to run the Estimating for all projects, applicants will be working on tenders from 250,000 to £1.5m.
The successful applicant will be required to:
Receive tender packages predominately working on Fit out and put together fully compliant tender returns
Manage tenders to ensure all return dates are achieved
Request quotes from subcontractors and manufacturers
Manage the outsourcing of tenders' external estimators, briefing and liaising with them throughout the process
Attend mid and post tender interviews
Carry out site surveys
Complete electrical design on D&B projects
Handover successful bids to project team
Assist with procurement
Key skills required:
Accuracy and attention to detail, including spelling and grammar to maintain a highly professional standard
Must have minimum 5 years electrical estimation experience and experience of working on estimates form £250k to £1.5m
Working knowledge of Cypher Estimating package or similar (not essential but would be preferred)
Technically competent with a good understanding of Electrical installation methods and pricing
Ability to negotiate with suppliers and customers, building and maintaining relationships
Clear communicator and good presentation skills
