Kier and its partnership with South West Water are passionate about water, we help provide high quality drinking and waste water service throughout Cornwall, Devon, Bournemouth and small parts of Somerset.
We work as part of a Framework delivering civil schemes across the regions in the South West, whether it be responding to fix a water leak or replacing a main on planned works, we will be there ensuring we complete the works in a safe and timely way.
We need someone like you to carry out leakage and optimisation schemes including main laying and large connection work. General site supervision duties associated with Integrated Maintenance and Repair planned work will play a big part in this fast-paced role.
With Health and Safety at the heart of all you do, the Ganger will communicate with the Delivery Agent and other colleagues to update them on progress and deadlines set by the client, timely communication is key.
Previous experience in the Water industry would be extremely desirable, however we can work to transfer skills from other areas of the Utilities industry. If you have some or all of the below then we would like to hear from you:
- EUSR - Water Hygiene
- Full UK Driving License
- Asbestos Cat2 Trained
- Abrasive Wheel Trained
- NRSWA - Units 001-007 inc & 009
- Cat and Genny Trained
- 180 Tracked Digger CITB or Equivalent
- Slinger Banksman Trained
- Deep Excavation Trained
