Our Strategic Projects division work on high value, complex projects that covers the UK. The projects span from urban regeneration and commercial developments, through to cutting-edge laboratories and large-scale public sector facilities.
Our £250m+ prison project at HMP Wellingborough needs a Construction Manager who will be responsible for ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters for the site are managed, you will need to assist the commercial team in setting target costs and form close relationships with designers, subcontractors and integrated team colleagues. You will ensure work is compliant with current CDM regulations and ensure KPI's are met and exceeded.
Mitigating risk and identifying problems early on is a key part of this role, along with providing the Project Manager with immediate warnings about issues and potential over spends. You will need to be a strong leader, hold a construction related HNC/HND or degree, have a high level of knowledge of the delivery of projects and have previous experience in a similar role.
