My client is an established manufacturer based in Leicester with a distinguished reputation, looking to recruit skilled CNC Setter/ Operators to join their busy team. Commutable from Leicester, Oadby, Wigston, Beaumont Leys and surrounding areas.
Permanent Opportunity
Paying between £10 per hour up to £14 per hour based on skills test and shift.
Multiple shifts available - days afternoons or nights.
Interviews commencing the week beginning Monday the 19th August.
THE ROLE OF THE CNC MILLER SETTER OPERATOR
To set the CNC milling machines working closely alongside the operators and programmers to ensure the smooth running of the machines, this will include editing tools as and when needed to.
To run a variety of different systems and operating systems to tight tolerances.
Operating the CNC milling machines making minor adjustments as and when required.
Assist in the workshop on other sections as and when needed.
THE CNC MILLING SETTER OPERATOR
Minimum 2 years experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
Able to ready and understand engineering drawings.
Experience of measuring finished productions using inspection tools.
Knowledge of working with a variety of different metals.
