Role responsibilities
Plan and deliver high quality teaching in the subject areas required, using up to date vocational knowledge and expertise to ensure the curriculum delivered develops students' employability, life and learning skills.
Apply appropriate and fair methods of assessment to students to support progression and achievement.
Promptly provide high quality feedback to students. Ensuring that all marking, assessments and moderation that has been completed in a timely manner is recorded and tracked appropriately.
Work with colleagues to further develop the Department
Maintain and update knowledge of your subject and/or vocational area.
The person & qualifications
Level 3 qualification in relevant area or Degree level qualification in a relevant subject area or equivalent in industry experience.
Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain designated teaching qualification within specified time.
Maths and English qualification to Level 2 or higher.
Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or willingness to work towards.
Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice (CLIQA) or willingness to work towards.
