Protocol are pleased to work in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' college in West Yorkshire who are seeking a new addition to their Engineering Team!
This part-time, temporary-ongoing contract offers the opportunity to inspire and guide young people in their first steps towards a career in engineering through classroom teaching and practical activity in the college's designated engineering workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for those who work on a part-time, supply or freelance basis. The college are looking for an individual who is available for 2 days per week (Thursdays and Fridays).
Using the skills you have gained over your career in engineering, you will be a beacon of support, paving the way for students beginning their own career journeys. This college is keen to hear from candidates with excellent communication skills and the ability to enthuse and inspire students on their Level 3 BTEC Engineering courses. We are seeking an individual who can confidently deliver graphical detailing, science and materials within engineering, so we look forward to hearing from candidates who have experience of delivering these aspects of engineering confidently up to level 3.
The rate of pay for this position is negotiable. The college are looking to interview for this role as soon as possible.
The person & qualifications
* A recognised UK teaching qualification
* A higher level qualification in an engineering discipline
* Experience delivering Engineering up to level 3
* Sound knowledge of graphical detailing and science & materials within engineering
