Kier are looking to hire an experienced VRS Team Leader. The Team Leader will be at the forefront of a step change in delivery of maintenance for our Area 9 contract extension and will be accountable for delivery of Planned & Reactive, Third Party Repairs and Winter Maintenance works. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in both a leadership position and a practical role. You will get the opportunity to deploy your innovative techniques to ensure health and safety improvements are made and you meet the demands of our maintenance service.
To make an excellent Team Leader at Kier we will need you to have demonstrable knowledge in VRS Systems, hold SSSTS/SMSTS qualification and have the ability to lead, motivate and manage a small team of staff. Working closely with Highways England you will need to understand and follow Health and Safety rules relating to highways operations. Relevant qualifications in Traffic Management, Incident Response, Winter Maintenance and Highways maintenance operational tasks are also vital to the role.
