Protocol are currently working with a fantastic higher & further education college in the Gloucestershire area to recruit for an Assessor within Brickwork & Property Maintenance! We are ideally looking for an experienced assessor in this field to join the growing Business Hub that is based at the college. Role responsibilities
* To assess learners' performance and/or related knowledge in a range of tasks and to ensure that the competence and/or knowledge demonstrated meets the requirements of the apprenticeship frameworks or standards.
* You will be expected to implement and administer all assessment and internal verification procedures.
* You will support, train and guide learners and develop their skills and abilities with regards to assessment and verification.
* You will work across a range of predominately Level 2 and some 3 qualifications to deliver flexible, high quality training/assessments in the work based training area.

The person & qualifications
* Will hold, or be willing to work towards a CAVA
* Up to date knowledge of specialist area/industry in Brickwork and Maintenance
* Experience and occupational competence in specialist area
* Experience of working with an e-portfolio system
* Experience of assessing Brickwork and / or Maintenance
* Experience of working closely with employers and apprentices
* Experience in assessing, planning, controlling and implementing Apprenticeship programs up to and including level 3
* To have a sound knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeship programmes
* To be able to demonstrate an ability to train, assess and verify to required standards
