Sales Manager - Timber
Basic to £55,000 + Car / Car Allowance

You will be joining an international structural timber supplier who import structural timber and CLS and who supply most of the top ten timber engineering businesses across the UK. The role is mainly account management where you will deal with many levels throughout your customer base often interacting with Regional Directors through to Branch Managers in organisations like Jewson where you are trouble shooting and ensuring that the relationships are strong. A typical week is three days on the road and two days home based within your home office environment.
It is likely that you have either worked within the Timber Engineering sector in a sales capacity or have supplied Timber into the sector (timber engineering or timber frame) but in any case you will be able to demonstrate the ability to form relationships at all levels and have the ability to strengthen these relationships in everything that you do.
Working as part of a team of senior industrial professionals you will be confident entertaining customers at all levels and in addition taking them on visits abroad to visit the timber country of origin and processing centres.
Your track record
Senior sales gained in either Timber Supply or Timber Engineering
Strong demonstrable relationship and account management skills
