Bedford, Milton Keynes - Commutable from Northamptonshire

Food industry experience is not essential

4 on, 4 off - Days & Nights

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 - Dependent on Experience



We are a successful market leader within our industry, specialising in the food/fmcg sector. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add 3 mechanical maintenance engineers to join our already successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical maintenance engineer to work for someone who supply some of the biggest food companies in the world and a company who develop and cross-train at every given opportunity.

The Company:

    Turnover in excess of 5 Billion

    A transparent structure where training is encouraged across the whole business - PLC training will be provided

    A structure which encourages to promote and develop existing staff members

The Candidate:

    A qualified mechanical maintenance engineer

    A mechanical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 is essential

    Understanding or any PLC exposure will be beneficial (training can be provided)

    Mechanically - ability to replace bearings, motors, pumps etc.

    Experience of working within a manufacturing/automotive environment

    Must be based in, or within a commutable distance from client site
