There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Scotland East Division is looking to recruit a Part Exchange Manager to join the Division’s Sales team. The Role The role of Part Exchange Manager reports to the Sales Director and is responsible for managing and overseeing all Part Exchange sales activities in accordance with specified timescales and budgets requirements set out by the Sales Director. Principle accountabilities of the role include: Obtaining market appraisals on Part Exchange and Express Mover. Negotiating Part Exchange and Express Mover purchases and sales. Inspecting all Part Exchange properties on a fortnightly basis, or as required by the Sales Director Managing the portfolio of Part Exchange properties from the purchase being agreed through to legal completion in order to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Visiting all Part Exchange properties in the division’s portfolio periodically to check that they are maintained to the required Bellway standard. Owned properties should be visited every two weeks. Organising any remedial work required to Part Exchange properties. Preparing brief sales particulars for distribution to sales offices and to be placed on Bellway website. Submitting website updates on a weekly basis advertising Part Exchange and Express Mover properties for sale. Attending sales meetings with Sales Advisers and Sales Managers as required. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experience of working in a similar role for a high volume national housebuilder would be advantageous Qualifications and Training GCSE Maths and English – Grade C or above (or equivalent) Skills and Aptitude Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Good administration skills Works effectively to deadlines Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook). Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Committed to diversity and inclusion The Role and Working Conditions Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked. Ability to travel to all sales sites, including divisional offices.
