Senior Estimator - Utilities, Water.

Location: Manchester - Travel required within Operational Areas - Staffordshire/Yorkshire

Are you an experienced Senior Estimator? Looking to lead a team on our new Civils Framework Contracts with Severn Trent Water and Yorkshire Water.

These Frameworks include Design & Build, civil and structural engineering, construction and refurbishment works associated with above and below ground assets on operational treatment, collection or distribution facilities, including process treatment and water retaining structures, as one-off projects.

A position of responsibility from which you will be able to play an active role in the continued development of the company through generating competitive, profitable tenders for authorisation and submission.

Tendering for work in our new Capital Delivery Frameworks with Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent Water, your aim will be to maximise the order pipeline and its conversion into market share, revenue and operating profit within the business unit.

You will have a proven track record of winning profitable work, striving from success as you show your capability of take-offs and creation of bills of quantities and activity schedules.

You will need to be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, estimating software/ systems, including Causeway Estimating Software (CES) and presentation techniques. You must be capable of using these to the best effect to add value to the tender and work winning process.

These contracts are NEC3/NEC4 conditions of contract, so you'll need to be highly conversant in both.
