I am currently recruiting for x3 Mechanical Fitters to work on a contract basis in the West Midlands.
The company I am recruiting on behalf of has been trading for over 70 years, has a really strong reputation and employs a large multi-disciplinary team, 30% if which are contractors.

They have a 40% global market share and 2020 is set to be super busy!!


I am looking for people who have;

  • Level 3 or above in a mechanical discipline

  • A proven track record in the building of machinery

  • If you have machinery installation / relocation experience this would be handy!

In terms of your day to day role, essentially you will be allocated a set of drawings and part lists.
From there you will be building machines form the ground up - frames, motors, gearboxes, sensors, conveyors, actuation components such as pneumatic, hydraulics on occasion and so on.
From time to time, some basic cutting and welding will be required (welding would a rough tacking together).
