Location: Field Based (covering UK wide)
Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum (Competitive Package Inclusive of: Base Salary + Overtime + Subsistence Allowance)

Our Client have an exciting opportunity to join our business as a CNC Field Service Engineer working offsite nationwide and, on occasions, overseas to install and repair CNC metalworking machine tools. A flexible approach to working hours is required to meet our customer demands with weekend working required on occasions. Excellent overtime payments and/or time off for weekend working.
As CNC Field Service Engineer you must have a practical knowledge of the metalworking/machining precision engineering industry and previous experience and familiarity with CNC metal cutting machinery.
CNC Field Service Engineer Duties Include:
Installation, servicing, repair, building and rebuilding of medium to large capacity CNC metal working machine tools.
Provision of technical support for the engineering and service departments, as and when required.
Role Requirements - Electrical
- Apprentice trained machine tool engineer.
- Good understanding and practical working knowledge of CNC Controls, servo drives & PLC programming.
- Capable of fault finding on electrical circuits.
- An understanding of mechanical CNC machine tool engineering including hydraulic & pneumatic systems would be an advantage
- PC literate
- Full valid driving licence
