My client is a specialist manufacturer based in Hinckley with a distinguished reputation, looking to recruit a skilled CNC Lathe Setter and Operator to join their busy team. Commutable from Hinckley, Burbage, Nuneaton, Lutterworth, Leicester Forest East and surrounding areas.

Permanent Opportunity

Paying between £11.00 per hour up to £11.51 per hour.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday 6am- 2pm

25 days holiday + Bank holidays - worked on an hourly basis.

THE ROLE OF THE CNC LATHE SETTER OPERATOR

To both set and operate the CNC Lathe machine working on Fanuc controls

Working closely alongside the operators and setters to ensure the smooth running of the machines, this will include editing tools as and when needed to.

To run a variety of different systems and operating systems to tight tolerances.

Operating the CNC lathe machines making minor adjustments as and when required.

Assist in the workshop on other sections.

THE CNC LATHE SETTER OPERATOR

Experienced within both the setting and operating of CNC lathes.

Experience working on Fanuc control system.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Has the ability to bore Jaws.

Experience of measuring finished productions using inspection tools.

Team Player.
