My client is a specialist manufacturer based in Birmingham with a distinguished reputation, looking to recruit a skilled CNC Miller Setter and Operator to join their busy team. Commutable from Birmingham, West Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield,Solihull and Halesowen.

Permanent Opportunity

Paying between £24500 £26500

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am -16:00pm Friday: 7:00am-12:00pm

Regular overtime available

Overtime paid at a premium: time and a third for first 6 hours anything after paid at time and a half

THE ROLE OF THE CNC MILLER SETTER OPERATOR

To Operate the CNC Milling Machine working on Fanuc controls

To Set the CNC Milling Machine working on Fanuc controls

To use the overhead crane safely.

Working closely alongside the operators and setters to ensure the smooth running of the machines, this will include editing tools as and when needed to.

To run a variety of different systems and operating systems to tight tolerances.

Assist in the workshop on other sections.

THE CNC MILLER SETTER AND OPERATOR

Must hold a overhead crane licence.

Experienced both operating and setting the CNC Milling Machine.

Experience working on Fanuc control systems.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Experience of measuring finished productions using inspection tools.

Team Player.
