We are seeking to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator to join our clients' Business Development team, on a permanent contract basis. Based at their regional office in Derbyshire, you will be providing effective, high quality, administrative support.

The Role

* Managing the co-ordination of handover packs, ensuring all relevant information, documentation, legislative requirements and certifications are received and ready to be issued for the project completion dates.
* Maintaining and updating information on the defects register.
* Resolving outstanding project issues or defects by liaising with and providing regular updates to contract managers.
* Sourcing and organising quotes for repairs.
* Liaising with tenants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure issues or defects are carried out in a timely manner maintain our client satisfaction.
* Ensuring costs are tracked for all projects, liaising with quantity surveyors regularly to make them aware of charges.
* Maintain excellent communication channels with existing client base, managing expectations, continuing to develop relationships to enable client feedback and continuous improvement.
* Visiting site to build knowledge and client relationships.
* Producing reports, as and when necessary to meet deadlines and pending project requirements.
* Transferring information from the tender to live on going projects.
* Maintaining the integrated management systems (IMS) requirements, procedures and policies.
* To undertake other duties as required.


The Person

* An experienced communicator with the ability to build client rapport, excellent communication and negotiation strengths.
* Must possess strong commercial awareness with an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, project management and continuous improvement.


Experience

* Relevant third level qualification with 3 + years' experience in the construction or housing sector.
* A strong understanding of affordable housing and how they are funded.
* A background knowledge of customer care working on large projects after completion.
