We have an opportunity for a Desktop Analyst to join the Desktop Team at our head office in Coalville. About the role You will be providing 2nd line support for all AI User Client Devices in line with business standards and service level requirements. Elements to the role include: Diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware Incidents, Requests & Problems on all AI Client Devices, Printers & MFD’s, File & Print Servers, mobile devices and any associated peripheral equipment (includes ‘Bring Your Own Device’ solutions) Travel to sites across the UK as and when required to provide direct support Ensure client devices and software are kept up to date and secure, in line with security standards Implement Changes to the Client Infrastructure as and when required Build positive relationships with Users and maintain IT service levels Develop an innovative approach to working practices and problem solving Support the implementation of new Business platforms and products Continuous development of technical knowledge Provide out of office support when required What will you bring? ITIL Foundation qualification and a thorough understanding of the Service Support processes Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Service Desk or IT Support environment Knowledge of MS Office products Knowledge of Windows Operating systems Demonstration of excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong Customer focus A passion for IT Administration of an Active Directory Detailed knowledge of PC, laptop, printer hardware and software configurations Knowledge and configuration of SmartPhone and Tablet technologies ?
