Protocol are working in partnership with a University who are seeking a part-time Work Based Learning Coach to be based in Leeds, working with apprentices on their Higher and Degree Apprenticeships in Engineering.
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist advice and support for the delivery of work based learning, apprenticeship and employer liaison at the University and in the work place, ensuring support for the development and implementation of relevant progress review systems and processes. You will be required to work collaboratively to deliver and develop a multidisciplinary, inclusive and responsive service, to ensure a positive student/ employer experience, responding effectively to student diversity.
Role responsibilities
- To deliver specialist advice and support, based on an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Engineering
- Undertake three-way reviews and review training needs of apprentices
- Co-ordinate and design ongoing delivery of work based learning
- Develop and deliver training
- Manage events, visits and training with apprentices and employers
The person & qualifications
- Higher qualification in a relevant discipline
- Awareness of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships
